The books listed here are free, mainly because they are deemed classic. Their authors long gone but oh alive they still are. Other authors and other books are not always free. Authors have to live, feed their kids and pay the mortgage. Copyright is important and plagiarism is a sin. Support authors by buying their books. Often they have laboured into the darkness, we were dreaming, they were sharing their dreams.

It flourished under the patronage of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and functioned as a major center of scholarship, at least until the time of Rome’s conquest of Egypt, and probably for many centuries thereafter. Alexander, although picking the site and planning the general layout of the city, died before he could take part in the construction of the library or academy that was created in his name.

He would then give me anecdotes about the authors,, we discussed the books (I have read alot of them) and laughed and thought. It was great. I love you Mick.!
